The e-Learning Foundation is the only charity in the UK with a mission to ensure that every schooldchild has the learning technologies they need for their education, when where they want to learn.

In a world where technology is pervasive it is hard to believe that over 1.5m children do not have access to a computer and cannot go online at home.  We already know how much children from low income families lag behind educationally; the digital divide is yet another source of disadvantage.

Events have and will be taking place at the CLC with teachers and Business Managers from Blackpool schools detailing the potential impact that this technology can have on disadvantaged children.
