St Mary's Yr 9 Citizenship
'Taking Action'
Group leaders Lucy Birchall and Vicky Elliot brought in a group of year 9 students, looking at the right to peaceful protest. Particularly at protests of the past, listening to music and creating a protest song/placard.
The purpose was to apply this learning to aspects of their own lives and the creation of a protest placard for a local issue.
