Welcome to Blackpool City Learning Centre's page aimed at all those staff supporting, delivering or actively engaged in Career Professional Development (CPD) programmes in Blackpool.  Blackpool is fully committed to enabling all staff working in schools to develop their potential and realise a commitment to ensure all Blackpool young people have a good or outstanding teaching and learning experience.

Presently (May 2011) 71% of all Blackpool schools are rated good or better with 8% outstanding(OFSTED).  It is our ambition to provide targeted CPD to support schools in moving from good to outstanding.

As a hub for training and professional development, our teams and contacts can provide access to further children, adult and family services and will also provide information to strategic partners or other local authorities.
