Blackpool Guidance Community

The Blackpool joint services supportive ‘Guidance community’ is in place to inform aspirational learners and families by;

• Enabling young people to develop the appropriate personal skills to engage with decision making processes.
• Ensuring young people and their families have an up to date knowledge of and access to progression pathways.
• Supporting the signposting of local and regional career opportunities together with an understanding of the qualifications / skills required to access them.
• Providing young people with work related experiences linked to potential progression pathways.
