The Blackpool Schools' Partnership prioritises continuing professional development as a way of securing school improvement.
As a group, we have made a collective attempt to move away from a reliance on traditional external CPD activities to develop and use the knowledge and expertise within our schools, clusters or networks. Through high quality teacher focus groups and collective action research projects we develop resources to support outstanding teaching and learning, develop leadership at all levels and promote wider use of existing and emerging technologies.
