The Advanced Skills Teachers and Lead Practitioners network incorporates all those staff who have been through associated national or local training and are still based in Blackpool Schools or working for Blackpool School Improvement team.
Their ambition is to promote excellence, support teacher development, signpost action research, build on the strengths of best practice and steer local aspirations toward outstanding teaching and learning.
The network meets twice a term but feeds information within the network on a regular basis. They also liaise with the Blackpool City Learning Centre who assist in signposting and communicating outcomes.
